Coach O’Neal

Coach Edwan O’Neal is the Co-Founder of the North Alabama “LAKERS” Basketball Academy. Coach O’Neal has a long resume of coaching basketball over the years. He coached collegiately for a few years. He served as the head assistant coach for the varsity boys program at Columbia High School for the past 4 years, while serving on the staff for 8 total years. Coach O’Neal was an assistant for Chapman Middle School during their championship runs. Additionally, he has provided player development and training for high school and college programs. In recent years, he has been dedicated to coaching his son and the 8U Lakers team which participated in a recreational league. Now, Coach O’Neal and the staff are motivated and focused on changing the lives of young men through this new AAU platform.
