Rydell Gordon – Vice President for Board of Directors

Rydell Gordon serves as the Vice President for the Board of Directors.   He was born and raised in Athens, AL and currently lives in Huntsville. He graduated from Athens High and Alabama A & M University. He is a proud brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He has been married to his lovely wife Vivian for 36 years and they have 2 children and four grandchildren.

Rydell developed a passion for sports at an early age. He excelled at baseball and basketball and played basketball at Alabama A & M University, until an injury prevented him to continue. His passion for the sport of basketball was rekindled when he began coaching his children in youth sports. He also coached for his church’s men’s basketball team where he had the privilege of coaching Dr. Coach O’Neal.

Rydell has served as Deacon and Elder at his church and has served on many committees. He still has a passion for youth sports and he is excited to be a part of the North Alabama Lakers organization!
